Data Subject Rights

Last updated: October 22, 2026

Name change: the application formerly called "SES Peregrino" is now called "Hospitalero by Wise Pilgrim". Only the name changes: the company (Wise Pilgrim SL), the application, your account and your data stay the same.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Articles 15 to 22) and Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) give you the right to access your personal data, correct it, ask for it to be erased, restrict its processing, take it with you (portability) and object to its processing. Who you ask depends on who you are:

  • A guest registered by a property
  • A property using Hospitalero
  • A pilgrim requesting a bed from All Caminos (Saved beds)

If you are a guest

The property that registered you is the controller of your guest data. To exercise your rights:

  1. Contact the property that registered you. It has one month to answer, and the application lets it view, search, export, correct and erase your record.
  2. Contact the Ministry of the Interior for data already sent to SES.HOSPEDAJES.

What Wise Pilgrim SL does

Wise Pilgrim SL stores the guest register encrypted on the property's behalf, as data processor, and cannot decrypt it. If you write to me at privacy@wisepilgrim.com, I forward your request to the property within 5 working days at the latest and help with the data I can read (submission history, statistics rows and error log).

Legal limit: Royal Decree 933/2021 requires the register to be kept for 3 years. Until then it cannot be erased (GDPR Article 17(3)(b)); afterwards it is deleted automatically.

If your property uses Hospitalero

For your account data (your name, contact and tax details, address and sign-in data) and your property's public listing, the controller is Wise Pilgrim SL.

How this works

Access and rectification: you see and correct your account and listing in the app's Settings. For a full copy, or anything you can't change yourself, write to me.

Portability: the guest register and its statistics export to Excel or PDF from Reports (Informes).

Erasure: you close your account in the app or by email. Access is blocked at once and your personal data is deleted after 30 days; within those 30 days you can cancel by writing to me. The encrypted guest register stays locked until its 3-year legal period ends and is then deleted.

If you are a pilgrim (Saved beds)

For Saved beds the controller is Wise Pilgrim SL. There is no account: you can delete your pilgrim record yourself in All Caminos, under Settings, "Delete my pilgrim record". Everything is deleted at once (trust level and history, plan and favourites backup, notes and pilgrim code). If you have a pending request or a confirmed bed for that night or later, you cancel it first.

The trust score and the automatic acceptance a property can switch on are explained in Sections 1.5 and 3 of the Privacy Policy. They rest on legitimate interest, so you can object by writing to me (GDPR Article 21).

How to write to me

Send an email to privacy@wisepilgrim.com with:

  • Your name
  • The right you want to exercise
  • Your account email if you run a property, or your pilgrim code if you have it at hand

I will never ask you to email a copy of your identity document. I answer within one month at most; in complex cases this can be extended by two more months, and I tell you beforehand.

Supervisory authority

If you disagree with my answer, or believe your data is not processed lawfully, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD):
